Are You Tired of Being Broke?

If you are tired of being broke then you need to get off your ass and do something about it.

You can’t sit around and say that you’ll wait until things get better; it probably won’t happen in the near future, unless you win the lottery, but what are the chances of that happening?

Yes, times are hard and will probably get worse, but you can’t sit at home feeling sorry for yourself.

It’s OK to have a “why me” moment, but you have to move on; you have to find the strength to figure out how to get out of your financial mess.

Take a deep breath and tell yourself that everything’s going to be OK.

Right now many of us are in a state of constant worry about our families, jobs, and whether or not we can keep a roof over our heads, and food on the table.

Sometimes there is no room to think about anything else, but if you want to go from broke to debt free you need to make a few changes.

First, you have to stop living beyond your means; don’t have premium cable if you can barely pay the rent.

Second, if you have a gym membership give it up, learn exercise at home.

Third, start looking for a part time jobs, the holidays are coming up and many places will be hiring for seasonal positions.

Fourth, If you don’t have a budget you need create one, the only way to be financially free one day is to know where the money that you bring in is going to is a free program that helps you manage your budget.

Fifth, think of other ways to make extra money like taking surveys, you won’t get rich but you will be able to pay a bill or two.

Sixth, start your own business, get a book, or go online and learn a skill that you could teach someone else. If you love to bake you might be able to make a few dollars during the holidays by making and selling your popular baked goods. Don’t forget that you can save money on the ingredients that you buy at the grocery store by using coupons.

So, if you are tired of being broke, don’t lose hope in thinking that your financial situation will never change, just get off your butt, get motivated, and get moving until you go from being broke to financially free.
